This was one of my favorite places growing up as a poor Appalachian kid in a town where there were lots of rich kids. It was a places in the 90s where millennial teens could nab a cool ring or neckless for a couple of bucks and I've never forgotten that. There weren't a lot of places selling unique item for cheap to us kids so I was surprised to find it was still on King Street. One of my favorite places ! The owners are so sweet , very welcoming comfortable place . Super super cute stuff, purses, jewelry and more ! 100% reasonably priced . The owner is an incredibly kind an attentive man who you can tell is very passionate about the store he runs and will let you know what the best sellers are. He was showing me his spring collection and I found the most perfect form fitting but flowy maxi dress where I asked if I could change and leave the store in it because it was so beautiful. An amazing experience and i'll definitely be back!

I adore this store and its owners. They have amazing, crafted jewelry and pretty clothes. Bill is amazing, and is willing to have a conversation with you any time. He is the true embodiment of what being a Southerner, and most of all, an American, is all about. We should support our local, small town businesses, especially one run by such incredible people.

Excellent little hippie shop on King St. Lots of gemstone jewelry and cute clothing. I’ve been coming to this location for 20+ years, and the owner is always available for one-on-one assistance. He even shines the jewelry before you leave the store. Highly recommend.

They have amazing jewelry here and the couple is always so kind! Amazing prices and unique finds. I found a rare dark green turquoise ring from the 1940s here that was priced so fairly. Could not recommend this place more!

Visiting Boone for the day, we decided to check out Highway Robbery. Bill Parish, the owner, greeted us when we walked in. He is an absolute delight!!! He is very welcoming, friendly and a sweetheart!!! They have a nice variety of clothes, jewelry and other items. The prices were very reasonable! If you're visiting Boone, stop in and check Highway Robbery out!

I walked into Highway Robbery for the very first time last weekend. We had stayed at The Horton Hotel, this place is right next door & I missed it previously. Glad I walked in & met the owners, Bill & Pat Parish. They are friendly and knowledgeable. I love the history in small towns. Bill told me this store has been here on King Street for 55 years. In fact, you can hear him in one of my short videos. That’s incredible! I love old toys and Bill’s collection on display is something to see. I took some pics and videos but coming in to experience this store is my suggestion. It’s a must! They have lovely reasonably priced dresses, blouses & nice size fitting rooms. Large selection of gift items, too! Highway Robbery is unique! Pat showed me some of the Vintage Native American Navajo, Hopi & Zuni jewelry ❤️❤️❤️ I highly recommend this store!
